Armand DeMille has been performing at our restaurant, The Studio, Friday and Saturday nights for the last twelve years. The reason we have kept him here all that time is that he brings us a lot of repeat business. Our guests often tell us that his music is one of the reasons they choose our restaurant as one of their favorites. Very few weeks go by without at least one or two phone calls inquiring whether he will be performing prior to placing their reservation. It's no wonder, really - his large repertoire includes music that appeals to a wide range of tastes, and he makes a point of asking the diners for their favorite songs and singers.
He is reliable, prompt, co-operative and helpful with our staff, and polite to our guests. He keeps his performance volume at a perfect level - our guests often comment to us that the music sounds great, but it doesn't get in the way of their table conversation, no matter where they sit in the room.
I consider him to be a very important part of the success of our restaurant. I pay him, but he doesn't COST me money, he MAKES me money!

I met Armand DeMille in the late summer of 2017. He came in to the restaurant that I worked for and introduced himself. He told me he was a musician and gave me a folder with his cd and bio.
Being the music lover that I am, I checked it out. After hearing his work and reading that he was a former member of “The Vogues”, I decided to look up more of the Vogues music online. I grew up listening to these Vogues songs and was flooded with childhood memories of driving down the road with my father and singing with him to the radio. We decided to hire him on a weekly basis and could not have been any happier with doing so. Our guests loved him immediately and he gathering a “following” of fans that truly enjoy his music and his performances of classic favorites. He does a particularly good job with Elvis songs!
Over the course of a year or so, working together, Armand and I have become friends. He is a dedicated, responsible, fun and very kind human being. On many occasions he has helped with various tasks in the restaurant, while he was setting up his equipment. If my staff and I ever needed a hand with moving tables or carrying anything heavy, he was the first to step up and offer assistance.
He also takes pride in his craft, and listens to feedback graciously. He offers to take requests, and he is an all around “people pleaser”. He makes you feel completely comfortable when talking to him and in a very short time, you feel like you’ve known him for years! We have had plenty of laughs over sharing stories and experiences with music, and life in general. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to enjoy really good music and I am proud to be able to call him my friend. He is worth his weight in gold!
